The aim of this is to encourage Festival Goers to further endorse your support of the Festival and to benefit from some of the rewards that we are offering for the current season.

Members will benefit from: 

• Reduced price tickets for a wide range of events. *
• Invitation to attend exclusive Friends events, which this year will include a supper with Kate Adie. *
• Ability to book tickets 1 week in advance of the general public.
• Newsletter keeping you informed about recent developments.
• Friends Information Desk manned during the duration of the Festival.
• Annual end of Festival report.

In order to keep costs down, all correspondence regarding the Friends Group will be undertaken by email. We are unable to accept manual applications or payments. Bookings must be made through the web-site.

To join the Friends Group, please choose one of the following types of membership, and follow the on-screen instructions for payment.

This takes you to a PayPal payment page. If you do not have a PayPal account, ignore the 'Log In to PayPal' box, and just use the 'Continue' button to use your credit-card to make payment without going to the PayPal site.

After payment you will receive an email confirming your membership
(this may take a couple of days - our emails come from real human beings !).

This email will include details of how to access the Friend’s Booking page, where you will see the events on offer, including the exclusive Kate Adie supper, details of which are shown below.

The Meat and Drink of Reporting

This evening event will be held at the ‘Quay Restaurant’ on Appledore Quay on the evening of Sunday 26th September, and will take place after Kate Adie's earlier talk at this year’s festival.
There will be a welcome reception with Kate, where you will have the opportunity to chat with her, and other ABF Friends.

There will then be a supper when Kate will talk about her experiences, after which coffee will be served informally.
