How to Book Tickets for the Festival
There are a number of ways of booking tickets for the Festival

1) In Person at

Opening times: 9.30am to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday 11:00am to 5:00pm Sundays (Please note: closed Mondays) www.doctoncourtgallery.co.uk
2) On Line Using Credit or Debit Card

From the Authors and Tickets page, click the "Add to Basket" button next to the event(s) of your choice. You will be taken to the PayPal website. Simply follow the instructions.
Once you have paid you will receive a confirmation e-mail receipt. Your ticket(s) will then be sent to you in the post.
Present your ticket at the door in the usual manner.
A flat-rate booking/postage fee of £1:50 will apply at the end of all transactions made using this method.
3) Pay over the phone using a credit or debit card
(If you are unable to use the Internet booking form, arrangements have been made for the Box Office to process the ticket request for you. However, they only use the same ABF on-line form to input the details for you, so if you can use the Internet, please do so - your personal details will be more secure).
Ring the Box Office at Docton Court Gallery on (01237) 424949 during opening hours and ask to pay for tickets.
Have your credit or debit card ready.
You will be asked to provide personal details, including a valid email address, in order to process your booking in this manner. Your ticket(s) will then be sent to you in the post.
A flat-rate booking/postage fee of £1:50 will apply at the end of all transactions made using this method.
4) Pay by post
Click here to open a printable booking form. (You will need Adobe reader to view - get it here if the form does not open). Follow the instructions on the booking form and post it with a cheque made out to APPLEDORE BOOK FESTIVAL and a stamped self-addressed envelope to:

Your ticket(s) will then be sent to you in the post.
Please note: If you don't enclose a stamped addressed envelope, your ticket will be retained at the ABF Box Office for your personal collection without further correspondence.
Late Bookings: Tickets booked within 1 week of the event, will also be retained at the ABF Box Office for your personal collection. Please note that the Box Office is at a different location to the venues. We are unable to transfer tickets to be picked up on the door. Tickets must be collected from the Box Office.
Conditions of Booking
1. Tickets for the Appledore Book Festival cannot be exchanged or resold.
2. A refund is only possible if the event in question is cancelled before it begins and no alternative event is staged in its place. In this case refunds will be available from the ABF Box Office on personal application.
3. Buying a ticket will ensure that you get into the event but we cannot guarantee a seat in any particular location in the venue – for example, front row.
4. If an event is not sold out, the remaining tickets will be available for sale on the door for cash only and a 50 pence supplement.
